And these are really nice nail clippers. They are very sharp, they fit very well in the hand and work beautifully. The reason I only gave them 4 stars is that they are small. I have 65 pound greyhounds and they are barely big enough for the hounds. I would probably not be able to use these comfortably on dogs with large paws and nails or over 65 pounds or so. No where on the packaging does is specify large or small or does it give a weight limit for using these clippers. The picture on the package shows what appears to be a large German Shepherd type dog, and this would not make me wonder if the clippers were big enough for 65 pound dogs.I'll keep them, but I also want to call the company and chat with them about the clippers. :) So, if you have a medium or small dog, these clippers are great, just not for large dogs. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful  Nice quiet cut, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Clean & Healthy Nail Trimmer (Misc.)
