I was getting ready to buy another Furminator to replace the one my Yorkie-Chon has apparently hidden, when I saw this. I decided to give it a try since the "teeth" are rounded instead pointy, and I'm suspicious the Furminator disappeared because my Yorkie-Chon hated the way it felt. I was very impressed with the way the Shedzilla worked. It got rid of a LOT of hair in a small amount of time, and seemed to detangle my dog a little better than the Furminator. I also think my Yorkie-Chon found it more tolerable. This thing really works. I bought it because the blades looked like they wouldn't irritate my dog's skin. The round blades run through her coat like butter and pull out mounds of fur. I showed it to my groomer and she said she's been using a shed rake this for years.
